JUST EMBARRASSED
If you’ve got a friend or relative that’s a big club or bar hopper, and they seem to bring a new “friend” home every weekend, then this is the prank for them. Find out where they’re going this weekend, and then get some friends together to help. You’ll want cans, streamers, shoe polish or shaving cream, balloons, a sign, etc. Find their car and go at it! Tie the cans to streamers and the streamers to their bumper, and make a nice big “JUST MARRIED” sign in their window, complete with puffy hearts, and their name plus the name of a fictional spouse. Even if they leave alone, you can be sure they’re going to be pretty ticked, but just imagine the reaction you’ll get if they bring a “date.”
THE PRICE IS RIGHT
Do you have a friend that is obsessed with their car? If you’re tired of hearing about it, let them talk to someone else. For this prank, all you need is a quick digital pic of their car and your friend’s phone number. Pop it up on your local Craigslist at a ridiculously low price, and tell interested parties to call any time because you’re motivated to sell. Your friend’s phone will be ringing off the hook, and the best thing is that they can’t take the ad down themselves, so let them suffer as long as you see fit.
FAKE BREAK IN
This will only work if you have access to the victim’s car keys, or if they frequently leave their car unlocked and have manual windows. Either way, rolling down the window is central to the prank. Once you have done this, take some broken bottle glass and scatter it on the driver’s seat and on the ground around the driver’s side door. You can even tape a couple large, jagged pieces to the inside of the window frame to add to the effect. You can also use chalk to emulate metal scrapes on the door frame and around the window. Remove everything possible from the car and place it in the trunk. This can even include seat or wheel covers, air fresheners, any buttons or knobs that will come off—you name it. This prank could drag on as the victim panics in the driveway. Ideally they will realize they’ve been duped as soon as they try the window, but you might have to clue them in early if they decide to dial the cops.
